when its hot out, all we want to do is eat ice cream and cool off. I have found it very difficult to find good tasting and flavourful vegan ice cream. the recipe I will provide below, is for the yummiest banana chocolate vegan ice cream I have ever had. this recipe is super easy to make and you can freeze any extras for the next time you need a quick treat!
2 frozen bananas
2 tablespoons of peanut butter or almond butter
3.5 tablespoons of raw cacao either nibs or powder form
start by adding your banana into a blender or food processor, and mix it up until it shows an ice cream-life consistency
add in your peanut butter, salt, nuts and cocao and continue blending for 1-2 minutes
now that you’ve got your ice cream you can top it with some vegan sprinkles, cut up fruit or carob chips!
