good morning fellow bloggers!

my first blog post is about breakfast! i know i know, waking up with the sun for work or school can sometimes be difficult, however its so important to start your day with a good meal! what do you usually eat for breakfast? have you tried a smoothie bowl? smoothie bowls are an easy and fun way to consume all the essential nutrients you need to start your day! another reason why smoothie bowls are so great is because you can change what you put in them every day so that you never get bored. below is a step-to-step guide on how to make your very own smoothie bowl at home!


pour 1/4th (or 1/2 depending on how thick you prefer it) of a cup of water into a blender
add a handful of ice
add protein powder (optional, i use vanilla vega brand)
add green plus powder (optional)
add matcha powder (optional)
add a cup of frozen fruit (i like to use blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)
add flax seeds (optional)
add chia seeds (optional)
add cinnamon (optional)


once you have added everything that you want to mix, blend your smoothie bowl!
pour your smoothie into a bowl and add desired toppings.

i love to put a scoop of peanut butter, coconut bits and a cut up banana ontop of my smoothie bowl.
other great options to top your smoothie bowl include: nuts, fresh fruit, granola.
